I work with Headteachers, school leaders, SENCOs, and other education professionals who want to strengthen inclusive practice within their settings. I also collaborate with other consultants, and organisations on areas such as SEND, inclusion strategy, and EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) with a view to improving support for families and children with SEND. My support is tailored to each individual or organisation.
Mentoring sessions are supportive, reflective conversations designed to help leaders think clearly about challenges in their setting. Sessions may focus on inclusive leadership, SEND provision, staff development, difficult cases, strategic planning, or creative thinking for innovative practice. Each session is practical, confidential, and shaped around your priorities and specific to your context or issue.
Reflect & Refocus is a 4-week mentoring and support package designed to help school leaders review and strengthen inclusive practice within their setting. The package includes a bespoke reflection tool tailored to your context, a detailed written report, a personalised action plan, ongoing support throughout the programme, and a follow-up review conversation. It is designed to help schools make sustainable improvements for pupils with increasingly complex SEND needs, while also preparing for developments within the evolving OFSTED framework and SEND reforms.
Strong inclusive practice benefits everyone. When schools create environments where pupils feel understood, supported, and able to succeed, attendance, engagement, well being, and relationships often improve. Inclusive leadership also helps staff feel more confident, consistent, and equipped to meet diverse needs across the school community.
